townpost.news was an experiment in using AI to reduce the operational burden of running a local news site. The platform provided tools for content creation, editing, and publication workflows aimed at small news organizations.
Local news faces unique challenges: limited staff, tight budgets, and the constant pressure of daily publishing. This project explored how AI could help with routine tasks while letting journalists focus on reporting.
